Mustapha is the Partner & Head of Advisory. He formed IAAL Professional Services in 2021—a boutique Accounting, Auditing, Strategy & Transactions and Consulting firm in Nigeria.

Previously, he was an Audit Senior in BDO, Team Lead—Head Office and subsidiaries Audit Unit of Inspection Group in Intercontinental Bank Plc, Senior Manager in Transaction Advisory Services of EY, Group Chief Finance Officer of Great Place To Work and Quest Oil & Engineering Services Limited, and Associate Director of Deal Advisory Services of KPMG UK. 

He holds a degree in Accounting and is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.

He has over 17 years of finance and strategy experience advising clients across various sectors of the economy, including cross-border transactions. Overall, he has advised transactions in excess of $2 billion.
